4 Step Cold/ Flu Buster:

1. Fuel your body

  1. No Sugar (it feeds the candida that takes away from your immune system). You may have Stevia or Xylitol
  2. No milk (sugar lactose in it promotes yeast overgrowth which in turn takes away from your immune system. If non-organic, it will contain hormones that promote overgrowth)
  3. No alcohol, peanuts (contains aflotoxin aka mold), melons
  4. Switch from vegetable oils to saturated oils. Get your FREE guide HERE *
  5. No vinegar (except for apple cider)
  6. No soy sauce
  7. No yogurt, no fermented foods
  8. Coconut oil. Antiviral (1)

  10. Drink plenty of fresh squeezed lemon water without sugar.
  11. Drink pure clean water. Here is the water purification system * I recommend.

2. Help you immune system (3) : (1-4: take 2-3 drops of one kind a day in water. Switch kind every 4 days for 32 days)

  1. Grapefruit seed extract

  3. Oil of oregano. The terpene chemical is antiviral and anti-inflammatory. The carvacrol chemical fights off pathogens.
  4. Andrographis herb supercharges your immune system and helps flush out viral and bacterial infections.
  5. Garlic extract
  6. Olive leaf extract
  7. Vitamin D (10,000 International Units (IU) every day. Effective when taken with vitamin A. Take 4 capsules/day of Cod Liver Oil for maintenance. 8-12 for treatment (4).
  8. Iodine from sea vegetables, fish head (in broth form), and pasture raised dairy. Exercise caution if you have Hashimoto or Grave’s thyroid disorders.
  9. Apple Cide Vinegar. Puts body in alkaline state which helps with the immune system.
  10. Vitamin C from whole food source like Camu Camu/acerola cherry powders/“liposomal” vitamin C. Personally I use Longevity C * (It is expensive but it is effective and worth every penny).
  11. Raw unprocessed honey. Soothing and healing agent, antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial. See my Cold/Sore Throat Tea remedy recipe.
  12. Ginger. Anti-inflammatory property. Targets stomach upset, helps warm the body thereby promoting perspiration and expelling of toxins.
  13. Zinc. I recommend lozenge form. combats sniffling, sneezing, coughing symptoms. facilitates the function of proteins and healthy digestive system where most of immunity lies. Oysters are packed with zinc.
  14. Echinacea. Stimulates the immune system and promotes the activation of T-cells
  15. Turmeric. Anti-inflammatory, safe and effective anti-viral agent.
  16. Neti Pot*. Helps clean stuffed up sinuses, eliminate other harmful bacteria.
  17. American Ginseng
  18. Elderberry syrup. 1 teaspoon twice/day
  19. Homeopathic oscillococcinum has therapeutic value in the treatment of influenza-like syndromes.

3. Add friendly bacteria to gut (to crowd out the bad ones and encourage proper bowl movement) (2)

  1. Sacchromyces boulardii is good (Garden of Life, PB8, Orthobiotics). Start with lower billion usage with multistrain.
  2. Kimchi, sauerkraut, kefir, yogurt (after the 3 week protocol if symptoms don’t persist)
  3. Coconut Kefir water
  4. Eat plyphenold (blueberries, green tea, chocolate, raw apple cider vinegar, pistachios). They feed the short chain fatty acid in the colon that help with tissue repair.

4. Build your mucosal (3 weeks)

  1. Slippery elm
  2. Marshmallow root
  3. Diatomaceous Earth ***
  4. Bentonite clay ***

 

Additional tips

FIRST THING in the morning:

  1. 8 oz glass of pure water with one whole freshly squeezed lemon juice
  2. Neti Pot: Just fill a sanitized neti pot with warm clean water (I used boiled then cooled reverse osmosis water) and about one teaspoon of sea salt, and gently pour it down your sinuses.
  3. Costco sells NeilMed Sinus relief. It will take the place of Neti pot.

and in between and away from meals:

  1. 8-12oz glass of water w Bentonite clay and Diatomaceous Earth. Wait at least a half hour before eating

BREAKFAST:

  1. RAW ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (1/4 shot) with or without water
  2. Grain free breakfast
  3. Supplements: every 4 days rotate garlic, oregano and grapefruit seed extract pills.

LUNCH/DINNER:

  1. RAW ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (1/4 shot) with or without water. Or mixing a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with warm water, honey, and lemon, and drinking the concoction several times a day will have you back to health in no time.
  2. Gluten free lunch (can have Organic white rice on occasion and quinoa)
